Frequently asked questions

How does it differ from the X10?
For sport it uses a snag-resistant antenna and a larger display. The number of simultaneous talkers is the same: 10.
Can referees use it together?
The referee, assistant referees and fourth official all talk at once. With no waiting for a turn, decisions and warnings are shared on the spot.
Do I need a licence or a qualification?
No. It is a 2.4 GHz, 10 mW device holding Japanese construction design certification 020-220017.
Does it work in a venue full of spectators?
It has high-performance noise cancelling. Range does vary with the environment, so in large venues we recommend measuring on site beforehand.
What about sweat and rain?
It is IPX4 splash resistant, so sweat, light rain and spray are fine.
