On some sites, everything rests on the message getting through.

B-EAR products depend on no base station and no mobile network. The units connect directly, so they work in mountains and underground where phones have no signal.

Everyone talks and listens at once, so whoever spots a danger speaks up without waiting. Noise cancelling carries the voice over chainsaws and heavy machinery.

With relay bases the ALVO 1.9 extends to 3 groups, 26 units and about 2.4 km. A single satellite phone line can also be shared between headquarters and the field teams.

Frequently asked questions

Do they work where there is no mobile signal?
Yes. B-EAR products connect unit to unit without going through a base station.
Do I need a licence or a qualification?
No. They hold Japanese construction design certification and there is no usage registration to file, so they can be handed out immediately in an emergency.
Are subsidies available?
The products are not subsidised on their own; they are introduced as part of occupational safety programmes run by forestry operators, forest cooperatives and municipalities. Ask us and we will look into which schemes may apply.
How much ground can it cover?
The BRIDGECOM X10 reaches up to 1,500 m with the relay function. With relay bases the ALVO 1.9 extends to 3 groups, 26 units and about 2.4 km (simultaneous talk is guaranteed up to 25 units and about 1.6 km). Terrain changes these figures, so tell us about your site.
Do they stand up to rain and dust?
The X10 is fully waterproof to IPX7. The ALVO 1.9 is IPX4 on its own and IPX7 with the waterproof case.
