No. In Japan, every B-EAR full-duplex radio is a low-power radio that has received construction design certification or technical standards conformity certification. There is no station notification to file and no qualified operator to assign. You can use them the day you buy them.

No. B-EAR products talk to each other on their own. No power wiring and no antenna work.

In one group, ReaCom ALVO 1.9 and the BRIDGECOM X10 family support 10 people and the X5 supports 5. Linking groups with relay cables or relay bases extends both the number of talkers and the range.

It works like a conference call: everyone talks and listens at once. With push-to-talk, people queue up one by one, so whoever spots a danger cannot speak immediately. On site that difference counts for a great deal.

They are built for environments of around 100 dB. In noise, pairing them with sealed earphones and a throat microphone or boom microphone close to the mouth makes speech far clearer. The right choice depends on the kind of noise on your site, so please ask us.

In open line of sight: up to 1,500 m for the X10; up to 600 m for the X10 COMPACT and X10 ATHLETE on their own, or about 900 m with a relay; up to 300 m for the X5. With relay bases the ALVO 1.9 extends to 3 groups, 26 units and about 2.4 km. Buildings and steelwork shorten these figures.

The X10 family has 65,536 identification settings, and only matching settings can join a conversation. The ALVO 1.9 is encrypted with AES-256.

Yes, with the right adapter cable. The cable differs by model, so please ask us.

It depends on the site. Helmet-mounted if you wear a helmet, bone conduction or ear-hook if your ears must stay open, a throat microphone where people have to shout.

Each model has its own charger, including one that charges 20 units together. On sites with many units, that is far easier to manage.

Yes. We supply spare parts such as batteries and earphone microphones so you do not have to replace the unit.
